Yan Yi’s art exhibition “As one Is” is a profound contemplation and expression of the relationships between individuals and between humans and their environment. In Yan Yi’s works, we can see his delicate observations of human nature and his unique understanding of life. He uses the art form of sculpture to allow us to feel the interweaving of various emotions such as family love, friendship, and love. It makes us think about our own relationships with others.
At the same time, Yan Yi has a keen insight into the connection between humans and the environment. His works often place humans within nature, allowing us to feel the power and beauty of the natural world. He uses his brush to depict the changes of the four seasons, the grandeur of mountains and rivers, and the blooming of flowers, making us aware of the close connection between humans and nature, and how we should coexist harmoniously with it. This art exhibition is undoubtedly a feast for both the eyes and the mind, allowing us to contemplate the essence of life while enjoying the art.

INTRODUCTION

We, small and delicate as we are, stretch out our hands for help, only to touch the softness of the breeze brushing against our fingertips, meeting it, fitting together as one. Art is a hand, an eye, every pore, the “I”. It can extend, open, expand, or be released in the experience of life.

When the creator becomes a vessel, there is no distinction. Embracing everything seen, allowing it to pierce into the eyes, even if it stings, it is still allowed to be intense; even if it can make one drunk, one still seeks a bit of that shimmering light; letting the same scenery refract different kinds of brilliance through different eyes, this light seems to be pouring out, merging into the lake, flowing gradually, flowing into the throat, feeling the warmth.
