It seems that the more one is caught up in the obsession with objects, the more one needs a doorway other than objects to loosen the bonds, or even to free oneself from them. At this point, art becomes a place where one can at least dive briefly under the surface of impatience, whether it is for the audience or the artists who are present at the beginning. In this exhibition, ‘Objects - Nature’, the works of Fu Yibing, Luo Shipeng, and Wang Dapeng focus on objects, using paintings and sculptures to model nature, whether far or near, and reflecting on the growth and hope of the heart through the objects.

The artists' works look different from each other, though: Fu Yibing's “elephant” is a simple and bright colour block, which is easy to accept; while Luo Shipeng's chapped and smeared plants are more refined from human perception of life, and their forms are vaguely flowing between Expressionist “still-life” and traditional twiggy flowers. ‘Wang Dapeng's beasts have their origins in the Chinese cultural value of ‘auspiciousness’ and the vocabulary of ancient statues; however, the contents presented by the three artists are all directed to the busy and trance-like world of life, some embracing the history, some trying to modify it in such a way as to capture the emergence of random thoughts and feelings, and some simply going back to their childhood. Contemporary art, regardless of the geometry of the concept, is no longer so much in pursuit of ‘resemblance’ as recognised. As a result, the ‘image’ of the object can not be subjugated to the retina, and nature does not have to be equated with nature, so that people have a certain profound freedom with regard to art, whether it is the audience or the artist. The exhibition ‘Object-Nature’ is not completely abstract, what is the object in it is still recognisable, and we can turn more and more to the inner nature in the tolerance of the development of the times, and cherish this nature in the art works.
